Biography

 

Indigo grew up in and around Kearny, New Jersey, a city which overlooks the Manhattan skyline. The short train ride into New York City provided the artist with an abundance of landscapes for inspiration. Her childhood proved to be difficult, but she used art as her personal escape to rise above the adversity in her life. She is an open minded artist who believes that everyone should follow their own path.She uses vibrant color and brilliant textures to showcase her love of nature, wildlife and life, to all who view her art. She paints her experiences—her emotional and physical connections, which gives her artwork a representational, yet imaginative and surreal style.

 

Indigo strives to create art that encourages people to examine their own world a bit more closely, and challenge their own preconceptions. Her art ranges anywhere from pure abstract to figurative forms of this world and beyond.
