Cremation Ash Painting

Painting with a portion of human or animal cremation ashes.

 

Your funeral home/cremation service can provide you with the remains in more than one container, if you don’t want to handle it yourself.  We typically need around 2-5oz of remains, unless more is needed for oversized art pieces.  You can ship them in a sealed plastic container. We will return any and all remains that are not used and we are careful to handle them respectfully and carefully to ensure that only the amount needed for the art is kept and that none is wasted. When shipping the ashes you must include a pre-paid, return label for shipping so we can return the unused remains. What Still Remains Painting  

Painting with one or several different types of human or animal remains.

 

We will entertain all reasonable and sanitary requests. Examples: hair (from a hairbrush or cutting), bleached bone, eyelashes, tears, dirt from gravesite, etc… We will return any and all remains that are not used and we are careful to handle them respectfully and carefully to ensure that only the amount needed for the art is kept and that none is wasted. Spirit Sculpture Painting  (can be combined with our other paintings)

Painting Sculpture with your loved ones personal effects.

 

Small items belonging to the loved one are artistically arranged and attached to a handpainted canvas that captures the deceased spirit.

 

Ideas and Examples:

• pet collar, leash, tags, pet toys

• jewelry box contents; trinkets, coins, necklaces, rings

• toolbox contents; nails, tools, washers, screws, etc…

• tackle box contents; lures, hooks, etc…

• keepsake box contents; pictures, awards, etc…

 

We are careful to handle all personal effects respectfully and we carefully ensure that all items are used in the piece. When shipping the personal effects you must pack all items securely. Spirit Painting (no physical remains)

An abstract or portrait painting done with shared information about your loved one. Examples: Their personal style, where they loved to vacation, where they loved to spend their time, hobbies, favorite colors, favorite shapes/patterns and what they loved most about life.
